Zhakathoom A bit more on the bluesy/feely/sad/angsty side than how I've perceived earlier The Parlor mob releases (one of my fav songs would be "into the sun", so.. ) , but still very good.

I love how the first track, The day you were born, starts off and I must admit it caught me a bit off guard reaching for the volume button, but but I still think Dead man is the best track on the album.

This is one dead solid album.

//edit:/ This one is growing and growing on me. One of my fav releases this year! / Favorite track: Dead Man.

Bucky Don't let this one slip through the cracks, I almost did. This is truly outstanding and like the others have said, one of the hardest, bluesiest rock albums of the year. So raw, yet catchy with a heavy groove. Reminds me of the early years of Royal Thunder. Favorite track: Cry Wolf.

brianwhatl THere's just something very fresh and raw in these songs! Racing with a Beating Heart's chorus has been running in my head for days now. I love it when songs do that! How they got that melody in the chorus is a wonder! Favorite track: Racing With A Beating Heart.
